Brilliant contributions on the first six tracks from the amazingly talented musicians JT John Thomas on keys, David Chamberlain on bass, and Michael Jerome on drums/percussion, all of which were recorded and engineered by Lewis Pesacov. Overdubs engineered and mixed by the incredibly talented and invaluable purveyor of good vibes, Kevin Valentine, who added additional percussion as well. My multi-talented daughter Samantha Nirenberg recorded, engineered, mixed and sang her own words and melody on the title track "Still Got A Long Way To Go." She also recorded/engineered/mixed 'Rollin Down the Highway.' Kevin Valentine recorded, engineered, mixed and played drums on 'Favorite Time of Year' (a song inspired this past holiday season by my grandkids), with a beautiful pedal steel contribution by the great Boo Bernstein . Original songs written, sung and performed on guitar by Stanley Joe Nirenberg. Five tracks recorded in Nashville, with special thanks to friends and Nashville resident musicians Lael S Eccard (drums), Stuart Mathis (gtr) and Nick Hosford for their help in securing the recording facility and the special talents of the additional Nashville session musicians Dino Villanueva/Chris Kuffner (bass), Billy Livsey (keyboards), Whit Wright (pedal steel) and Lisa Kacos (drums/trumpet). Highlighted by amazing vocals from Nashville’s own Minnie Murphy.

Recorded/produced/engineered in both Nashville @ Purple Curtain Studio and in Los Angeles sessions @ RAD Music LA (with musicians Todd Tatum on drums, Dan Radlauer on keyboards, Mike Khalil on pedal steel and Tom Nolan on harmonica – Stan and Dan split bass duties). Mixes and fixes @ Del Mate Studio by Guillermo Bordarampe (w/ bass on bonus tracks).

Featuring daughter Samantha (Sam Rose) on the heartfelt song they co-wrote, "Show Me."
